OnePlus Confirms Gemini Integration with Google and Select OnePlus Apps
Following Samsung and Xiaomi, OnePlus has now announced Gemini AI integration on its devices. In a recent media briefing, the company confirmed that Gemini will be able to interact not only with Google apps but also with select OnePlus apps, including OnePlus Notes and Clock.
Use cases shared by the company include the ability to ask Gemini to summarize a YouTube recipe into a note, or to set an alarm based on a calendar event. This functionality will roll out via a software update for the OnePlus 13s. Availability for older OnePlus models remains unconfirmed.
This move makes OnePlus the latest Android OEM to support deeper Gemini integration, joining Samsung and Xiaomi. More manufacturers are expected to follow.
